The District is committed to offering advanced coursework to help students excel academically and prepare for college or careers. “Advanced coursework” includes honors, Advanced Placement (AP), college-level, or career certification courses starting in middle school. Every year by June 1, the District will inform families about available advanced courses, how to prepare for them, and what support or financial help is available to verify that all students have a fair chance to participate and succeed.
