All children are required to participate in physical education class unless they present a note from a parent or a physician's excuse. Medical excuses lasting more than one week must include a note from a doctor. If a note has been issued from a physician, we must have a note stating when the child may return to physical education class. If at any time during the school year your child is injured and requires stitches, a cast. a splint, staples, uses crutches or has surgery, the student will not be permitted to take physical education class until we get a medical release from a physician.
